Gastronomy
Each meal at The Hallery is a quiet homage to the South — where flavours unfold gently, and every bite carries the warmth of home and the memory of the land. Prepared with what the land offers, and served the way it’s meant to be — fresh, honest, and nourishing.
Rooted in the kitchens and the farms around it, every meal at The Hallery is a reflection of the place and its people — simple, seasonal, and full of soul. Born of Coorg’s soil, each dish is honest and simple, just as it should be.
You can also enjoy freshly ground and brewed specialty coffee, from a variety of Arabicas and Robustas right from our estate roasted and brewed to perfection.

Steeped in history, where time-honored tradition meets quiet sophistication. Major John Arthur Graham, a pioneer of the region, resided here with his family, surrounded by rolling coffee estates and the golden hues of a bygone era. It houses four spacious suite rooms, The interconnected rooms are ideal for larger families or groups seeking a private retreat.
No two suites at The Mangle’s Bungalow are the same—each one is painted in a unique hue, inspired by the changing seasons. The palatial rooms, with high ceilings soar above palatial four-poster beds, while antique furnishings lend an air of quiet grandeur. Wrapped in warmth and nostalgia, every suite is a space where old-world luxury meets modern-day comfort.
Rosarium Cottage
The Rosarium Cottage at The Hallery is a tribute to timeless beauty and elegance of the English Rosarium, a garden dedicated to the cultivation of roses. Historically, rosariums were not just gardens but sanctuaries—where poets found inspiration, lovers exchanged secret vows, and nature thrived in its fullest bloom.
At the Rosarium Cottage, we carry forward this legacy, offering a retreat where history, nature, and quiet luxury entwine like the petals of a beautiful English rose.
Cinnamon Cottage
The Cinnamon Cottage—named after the majestic cinnamon tree that graces its entrance—is a haven of warmth and charm. A sun-dappled verandah welcomes you, where terracotta floors meet the crisp morning air, and golden light dances across bolsters and trellis.
Inside, the cottage unfolds into a thoughtfully designed retreat, featuring a master bedroom, a junior bedroom, and a cozy living space—perfect for a family sojourn.
The rooms boast of exquisite vaulted wooden ceilings, a hallmark of European and English Country architecture. This classic design isn’t just about aesthetics; the natural Red Cedar panelling enhances insulation, keeping interiors cool in summer and cozy in winter, while its acoustic properties soften sound, wrapping you in a cocoon of quiet luxury.
The hand varnished wood against crisp, vintage walls evokes a sense of nostalgia—an ode to a bygone era, reimagined for the discerning traveler.
Every element within each of our rooms has been carefully curated & hand picked, keeping the comfort of our guests in mind, while complementing the vintage charm of the ambience.
